Evil Slave

as it turns out, according to watchtower as of now we need only take a look at 8 men of watchtower, and then ask and answer a question in order to be on the safe side.

my two cents worth. All religions claims to be Gods servent, all religions claim to represent God and Christ, all religion is in a position to feed the sheep at the proper time. So one could say all religion is the faithfull slave.

All religions Distort what God is. All religions misrepresent God and Christ. All religion starve the sheep. So one could say all religion is the Evil slave. ( lets not forget about the clild abuse, and demonic images, Lieing, the wars they have blessed, disfellowshipping, steeling money from widows, etc, etc... all facets of the evil slave) Lord, Lord. did we not...... get away from me you workers of lawlesness. Need I say more.

This debate, like conspiricy theories can go on forever. We must remember this fact. The WTBT$ is a publishing company first and formost, it will do what ever it takes to survive, even downgrading Russell to not even being the annointed. This publishing company has published precieved truth for over 100 years, for a time 2 WT and 2 Awakes a month, that is a lot of information, realistically what else can they write and stay alive, to keep captive a readership? Oh yes, down grade Russell, do away with what he wrote and his teachings. Now the new road is being paved for new books, brochures, and even newer WT articles. I look for some time in the near future the WTBT$ will start doing away with Rutherfords teachings, which will also pave the way for more books, brochures and even newer WT articles. Mark My words. This publishing company will do what ever it takes to stay alive, right till Christ destroys it. It is a very powerfull entity!!!!!

A newbie...

i'm new here but have been lurking here for a couple of months.

i am 3rd gen born in but have been inactive for a few years but always had the intention to make another go of the truth, but not now that i know ttatt.

i became inactive due to the inhumane treatment from family members who are elders.

Need help finding a citation re: You wouldn't go to a Toyota dealer

okay, online, many jws use the line that if you have a question about a ford, you wouldn't go to a toyota dealer.

they use this to say "only jehovah's witnesses can answer questions about jws.".

i can swear that there is some version of this statement in a watchtower publication.

To all the Elders, Ms, Co etc. out there - Are you accountable for the deception

if the elders united, rebelled and shut up shop - would it bring down the wt.

they 'shepherd the flock' - does that make them more accountable than anyone else for the deception and lies and trickery and deceit.. are they all non-believers who are along for the ride ?.

are they cowardly for taking a stand ?.

For the most part, these men are honest, and do believe in what they do. BUT!!!!!! I for one cannot see how these men can sit in those elders meetings (JC) committies, and hear time after time what "apostates" are saying, and yet not click!! they dont want to hear the truth, they love the position they have. I cannot see time after time how they can ignore their conscience. I have been involved, on the accusing side of an issue regarding a Elder lying, even with PROOF! (the 2 witmess rule) the issue was ignored. Just like the Pharisees in Jesus day, re. the blind man, Jesus cured him, and still the leaders expelled him from the synagogue! Sorry I think I am with LOST on this one. They know what the "apostates" are saying, and they know what we say is truthfull.

my first poem, i've written in over 30 years.. to all of my new friends and those yet to come.. the powers to be.

my day started early, 2:30 am.

i lay in bed to wonder, who i am.. midlife has come, my light is growing dim.

My first poem, I've written in over 30 years.. to all of my new friends and those yet to come.

The Powers to Be

My day started early, 2:30 am

I lay in bed to wonder, who I am.

Midlife has come, my light is growing dim. I look back to see unfulfilled dreams.

Without a note, a song I once wrote, of a love I once knew. I wonder if, but no, she never knew. The words, the rhyme, like time, have all gone, but, from time to time they do come back, to sing them one last time.

Wait ‘til then, I’ve been told, my dreams will then all unfold.

I once had a dream of what I would be, a man for all to see.

With cares and concern they arrived, all day long I would considered their cries,

With love and care, this I would share, a smile at last, not the usual, arctic blast.

The simple things I could give, love to share with a caring stare.

But the powers to be just didn’t care, so down I was thrown, to be on my own.

Those I love, family as one, have all left me because I am shunned.

My light grows dim you see, in 20 or 30 you won’t see me.

This poem is in remembrance of me.

I once had hope to help me cope

My wife, my life, my child, we would not grope. The cares, the love, the powers to be, these once all made me.

From door to door I would go, alive with the spirit, all aglow. With God’s word I gladly showed, to give hope, comfort, the love of God that grows.

Things have changed, all seems so strange.

My wife, my life, my child, we all still hope, with problems in life, we must cope.

With new found friends our lives won’t end, for now our journey truly begins.

The love and care, I can still share, the powers to be, just won’t care.

So here I lie to wonder why, of all the people to be shown, my life that is to be known. The courage, the strength, this has been shown to me, for I truly now know, God won’t kill me, if I don’t believe the powers to be.

My God, and his Christ now carries me, this all should be able to see.

I can live with that, for they have shown me the freedom of TTATT.

My act of REBELLION

well a picture says a thousand words!

i had a tattoo done today.. it was actually interesting because as i was chit chatting with the tattoo artist, she asked me if this tattoo symbolized anything....well actually it does i told her.. me: i was a jw and they are strongly against tattoos or anything that is really "normal" for people.. tattoo artist: i know all about jw, my ex-girlfriend's family was all jw, and i remember one time going over to her parents house and her grandma sat us both down and made us read some scriptures from her bible as to why we were going to hell.. me: actually you will due at armageddon, that is the jw thing.. tatt artist: oh right that is what her grandma said.

i forgot about that, you're right.. so then the rest of the conversation was just me telling her it's a cult and i told her never listen to any jw who comes knocking.. something else interesting that happened just before i came on here.

XYZ. Thank you for your concern. I do apolagize if I came off a little strong. As you may be able to see, when any elder expressed his consern, I was quite able to handle myself, thus one of the reasons I could not get appointed as a elder, I have always been my own thinker and never let anyone tell me how I should view things if they were not in harmony with the bible.

Do You Ever Give Thought To A "Great Tribulation"?

my mother asked me if i was thinking about it and how bad it will be in the near future.

i said i didn't give it a thought.. is it something you ever think about, now?.

The Great Tribulation already happened in 66-70 ce. Josephus accounts that 500 men a day were crucified. 1/2 of the world's population was killed at that time. 1.1 million people!

So if there was going to another fulfillment of that in our day, it would have to be worse.

NOBODY would survive.
